thought i'd do a progress thread as never done one. cars gone through alot of good & bad changes but always up to trying something new. wasn't after the usual c kicking about.
the big change:

1st pic when was bought
pretty much standard apart from angels & wind deflectors

chrome angels

a lil corsa meet with Fusco & DB Dan
also had a plain Irmscher grill added

Standard interior

Sportex twin 3" added (slight better sound) GT3 stright through added later

another lil c meet

then decided to ditch the exclusiv's as was never a fan
ended up with some League rims, did like them at 1st, but were cheap

got some led rear lights also, but then bought the black ones later

got these off DB Dan (still ended up tinting them later as looked nicer tinted

a lil York meet that ended up in Fast Car

got some smoothing done & a cupra splitter

also bought some 16" keskin kt1's 7.5j front & 9j rears

also a private plate for a laugh lol

due to the rims being a pain & so wide, i adapted the car to the rims, used combat bodykit arches. HBRC bodyshop flaired the rears out even more & more smoothing was done

also custom eyebrows shaped around the angel headlights

loads of colourcoding (ended up being too much lol)
sri mirrors & wind deflectors

DB Dan did me a gloss black roof

at PVS 2009

sprayed the keskins as got bored lol in some ford blue
looked mint off the car, but not on

they then went black, to suit the car more

lil pic session with my lass cause had sxi's sprayed in pearl pink by HBRC

then got it booked in HBRC bodyshop summer 2010 for full colour change
was origionally going Candy blue, but did a test panel & didn't like it, so went for the Focus rs ultimate green, as loved the colour, was new on the focus's & hadn't been done on a c yet
wasn't cheap but well worth it, fresh from the shop, took 2weeks

ended up getting limo tints on the rears cause windows were scratched to bits off bodyshop, so it hides them a bit better

had a lil bump in snow, ALEX Autobodies sorted it out ready for the mag feature, did a great job of it

also tinted my rear fogs & more interior colour coding

had the photoshoot for Totally Modified Magazine in march ready for the April issue
great day out down Mansfield & a few members off here turned up aswell

these are some of the actual shots from the magazine feature

oh well, was sick of the amount of green & black so was time for some new wheels, took forever finding some as saw loads but weren't available in the sizes I wanted
found some on Tunershop that could be custom made in sizes I wanted
went for
15 inch Stahl S1's with gold plated bolts to get the car lower & better sizes
2piece split rims
7.5j fronts with 165/40 stretched tyres
9.5j rears with 195/45 stretched tyres
took 2weeks to make & get posted from Germay
the long wait and they arrived

tyres were already waiting, got them fitted easily at £10 each
also gave them a good polish before fitting
these are the fronts

took a while to fit as needed to sort all the spacers out etc, fronts came with 30mm spacers, rears 15mm. had to add another 20mm to fronts to get the poke i wanted but eventually they were fitted

also my lass got some Kei 10's for xmas, had them refurbed in an Audi grey

added a few stickers, not sure but stopping for now

also a LOL mod, custom Mountain Dew exhaust, adds a good 5bhp lol

also TA technix coilovers were added when was silver, fonts wound all way down but still arch gap with stretch so getting the helpers out
also running 8k hid's since gone green & a boot build that needs tidying up

Loved it at silver.. took a while to get used to it in green but then i thought :yummy:
Massively dislike the new alloys compared to the keskins and SRi rep mirrors are pants with the angles they point but still, good job being very different to many

the keskins were in bad nick and got well bored of them, couldn't get low on them.the mirrors are bmw E36 mirrors, was just sick of the huge standards & bought some cheap ones, they aren't actually what i ordered but were cheap & just kept them anyways

yeh it isn't to everyones taste. new wheels do look better in person, spec the new stance

I can imagine the pics don't do the car justice on a whole.
Thinking of doing anything else to it?

yeh, keskins got boring & very common on cars & c's now.
there is either Revolution in Gateshead or KB tyres in Houghton le spring

Revolution take forever though and can only do so much stretch, so a tend to use KB tyres now i found them.
they did my fronts easily but couldn't get the pressure high enough for the rears.
either don't do any damage to the rims, as places are pants

mind a got a nail in one within the 2nd week, was right near the edge, KB tyres sorted it out & only cost £10 again

yeh, heard some places are charging like nearly 100 each, its like wtf lol

So both revo and kb tyres fit tyres £10 each?
And I have 165/50's to go onto a 7J, would they both do that?
