Hi Everyone ..... I took apart my dash to fix the 'random engine cut immobiliser issue' which seems to be fixed now, but putting it back together I find that I just can't figure out how to refit the final top plastic cover.

In typical Haynes style .. putting it back is not as easy as getting it off

Anybody able to explain how to refit this? or point me somewhere ?

To remove you pull up at the back and then unclip the two plastic clips at the front, Putting back I just cannot get the back in flush.

The tabs at the front are getting more and more fragile the more I try to fit this ..... co I came to you ?

Regards
Tim

It should slide in at the front (nearest the dash) first and locate into a grove/peg on each side then drop down at the back where the 2 tabs clip over the pegs of the lower trim panel behind the steering wheel. It is quite fiddly to do.

+1 thanks, z22se. I've taken my cowling apart to replace stalks and, as for Tim, the back-together looks blimmin' awful. I'll have a go with your how-to.
