WIRING IS AS FOLLOWS -

connect up the tc's brown wire to the cars red +yellow wire,
connect up the tc's blue wire to the cars blue+black wire
connect up the tc's black wire to the cars brown wire
connect up the tc's long red wire to the cars thick red wire (Perm +12v electric window supply)

leave short wire unless you want to wire into the fues box (no need as already got fuse in unit!)

nice tutorial Hoops, word of advice though mate. Get rid of the scotch locks and use crimped connectors instead ;) its a much more reliable way of doing it. The scotch locks arent that great due to how thin the wires are.

youd have to cut the wire to do that. with the scotch blocks you can take them off to remove the tc, and it wont leave much evidence. plus its behind the door anyway so wont be seen

did you program the unit mate? once the unit is fitted, turn ignition on, take windows down, then take up again and hold up button for 5-6 seconds. To test, take them down, keys out of ignition lock and should work ;)

well ladies ive sorted mine out hopefully anyone with same problem... this will help

you have to put everything back together for it to work for some reason.... if you are unsure if you have wired correctly though wind down your passenger side and then lock car... should work!

if not then you havent got wiring properly

gd luck

  1. Which wires did you connect to which?

    TC brown ->
    TC blue ->
    TC black ->
    TC long red ->
    TC short red ->

  2. Did you connect the long red or short red? Is the other connected to any other wire?

  3. Did you have a grey and white wire running through the plastic gaitor?
