tps, throttle position sensor!

Need a wee hand here!

Sisters corsa won't rev past 4k, engine light on and kicks out the code 0220 and 0210 which means throttle position sensor.

Mums mechanic tried changing the throttle, which I thought was silly. I tried changing the throttle body... didn't help!

What next? The problem appeared when her battery died and a mate tried to connect the jump leads wrong!!

Any ideas?

did he change the throttle pedal as this sounds like the problem

He did, made no difference. So changed it back to its original!

he have heard of issues about these before. the car ended up being put in the auction as it was proving too costly to fix. its something to do with the fly by wire ****e wiring

It's been to one. He ain't sure and didn't want ti chuck my sisters money at it.

Was asking here as everyone can be helpful and I'm quite handy at odd jobs now.
