me and my mate are considering buying an undercar led kit,,only thing is theyre gonna cost us £250 each(thats with a deal ,,normally £280) not including fitting(if we can find anyone to fit em)
retailer reckons theyre a good quality brand(from america)and theyre supposed to have a 1000 colours(different shades of each main colour)and react to bass.
however spoke to a car accessory specialist (eurocar)and they told me they sell neons but dont fit em anymore cos theyre nowt but trouble cos theyre always breaking down cos of vibration and damage etc,
i realise leds are better quality than neon but whats the reliability like,
has anyone got any or know owt about em
cheers

your right mate LED's are the way forward and neons are old school now. Neons are cheap enough for interior in footwells and boots etc. but you want LED's for under car! 8) Thinking of doing this myself soon (thats what I say about every mod  ) but wouldn't bother with the 1000 colour crap far too expensive for what you use. To say you can't use them on the road a lot of people still fit them... don't we all! For the amount of time you'll use them you might as well get a single colour set. I seen some that I'm gonna get, they are only £85 for a full set and the proper length none of this 36" on the sides, they flash stay on and bounce to the beat fully functional! So save your money, and if you fit them yourself let me know how you got on and we can all learn from your mistakes  only joking mate... at least you got the dosh to do it!

undercar neons

yeah me and my mate have got the dosh but were not too keen on wasting it if theyre not up to the job
i dont want to get ripped off
im not in a great hurry to part with probably nearly £400 after fitting but then again you usually get what you pay for,,im gonna shop around before i shell out that sort of money without really knowing my options .
maybe i can get a better deal without compromising on quality i hope so!!!
