Depends on what kind of alloys.
If Halfords have some at £150 you can guarantee everyone will be going down there to get them and everyone will have the same allys as you - if you don't mind that then I'd say go for it.
If you want to go for something a little original I'd say EBay or just ask around like you have done and ask people to keep an eye out for you.
