Dont know if this will work mate, but on my old corsa B I used an old cloth, put it in behind the window winder and use a sawing action, this should pop the clip out thats holding it in. (Let me know if that makes sense, cause reading it back it dont make much sense to me, and iv done it, Lol)

 

I think the c clip has come off but somehow it seems like it has been stuck on lol. I might try and use a hairdryer so the glue will melt if thats what it is. Cheers for the advice though

 

There's definately a C clip in there, had a little trouble getting it off myself (1 and a half hours, 30 miles, and a trip to vauhall) before a mate did it in 2 secs knowing what to do.

Like the guy said, get a rag and give it some saw-motion. It'll ping off.

 

So basically just use a rag with a sawing action without a saw?
lol just to be sure ill prob have a go tomorrow.

 

Yeah you gotta just slidea little cloth between the handle and the plastic bit that makes the hole the winder comes out of look a little neater. Give it some effort and some patience and it'll come.

 

Best way is use a cloth and yank in one direction pretty quickly around the back of the handle, but watch out as the clip can go flying.

 

Cheers for the advice ive had my mate round who works for vauxhall and he couldn't get them off because the clip has come of at some point. And we guess that a previous owner or vauxhall(lol) stuck them on when they took them off.

 

push the door card towards the door around the winder, and youll see the ends of the c clip, try and flick them off with a small electrical screw driver or the likes, and itll come off, have mine off a good lot of times for differnet components and sound proofing and you get there in the end, its just not easy
