For diesel Corsa:
A)Completely drain diesel filter
WARNING: Before starting, wipe and clean filter housing and everything around it. It is very important that filth and other garbage don’t get it to the fuel system. Get a suitable container (bucket or sth) in which you drain filter and put some cloth or old clothes around so you doesn't get fuel all around. Don't let diesel drops ond motor starter, cooling hoses, cables...
1)Diesel filter is located right and behind the engine next to the _______(where you put antifreeze). First disconnect the wires.
2) Use screwdriver to unclip the safety clip and lift the filter from housing. Disconnect the fuel pipes with pliers or special tool. Opel (and Vaux) recommends that you replace that clips on fuel pipes.
3) To make your job simpler, use _______(plastic thingy, narrow on one end, wide on the other. It is used when you fill bottle with liquid).
4)Loosen the screw and wait until the filter is drained
5)Tighten the screw
B) Take the filter out of the car but remember its position and were goes which hose
C)Remove the top lid and top sealant, filter, spring and bottom sealant. Throw the old sealant and replace them with new.
D)Drain the fuel from the filter
E)Clean the housing and top lid
F)Put the bottom sealant and spring into the housing
G)Put the new filter in and fill it with diesel. Ideally you must fill it to the top.
H) Put the lid back on with the new top sealant and central lock and tighten it to 8 Nm. Don't over tight it. Put the filter back to the place and reconnect fuel lines (remember to put new clips) and in the end, connect the wires.
Now you must fill the system with fuel. Start the engine. It might take more time than usual especially if you didn't follow step G). Try to start the engine for max 10sec and make a pause for about 5 sec. Max time for complete procedure is 40sec. So 3 tries MAX.
When you start the engine, keep it an high RPM for about 1min so you get the air out of system (if it is there).
After that, motor should be running smoothly at usual RPM.
