air intake with steinmetz grill

OK, fitted my grill today (thanks fillip) but noticed that on the steiny grill there are no holes for air intake like there are on the standard one.

i removed to air intake that used to sit behind the grill, and have just got the hose out of the airbox going towards the front, but theres a huge gap from taht to the grill.

what has every one else done with their air intakes after fitting the grill?

you wouldnt believe how restrictive the two little holes on the old grill are, as soon as i removed it the car sounds deeper when pulling away

I cut the stenny grill a bit

relocate a custom pipe into the bottom slats. theres more force to the air, altho the trade off is that the air has to circulate further before entering the engine.

so did i, works well.

What did you do with your air intake?

cut holes in top of grill like old one

get some hose and put that behind the new grill

left the old air intake as is

just removed it all.
