Hi guys, I had a persistent airbag light on my 2004 1.2 Corsa, the obd machine was not even communicating with the airbag module and so I got a second hand one from ebay and now it is giving me the B0016 error code, any chance one of you will now what the problem is and how I can fix it? Many thanks.

It also comes up as R/H seat air bag circuit high resistance. The new air bag module was from a Corsa C not Tigra B?
The Tigra B also has side air bags and very few Corsa C's had them. Its also worth checking the plug to the module as the car has probably had the water leaks like most Corsa get and could be a poor/dirty connection in this plug?

I have fixed the water leak and took the old airbag Unity out, the "new" (second hand actually) airbag module came from a corsa c and has the same serial number etc. I bought it on ebay. I think the Corsa it came from was in a crash and the airbag unit needs to be reset to clear the hard data from the crash. Do you know or can recommend anyone who can reset airbags units? Thank you.

As they have not replied back I guess the fixed it or gave up.

Do you have the same fault code or no communication with the airbag module? They are prone to getting wet if the brake servo plate has been leaking. They are mounted under the heater in the center of the car, you can get to the plug by removing the inner drivers side (R/H) kick panel. It may just be a bad connection. The other 2 common faults are the steering wheel clock spring ribbon breaking and the seat belt pre tensioner plug/wiring being damaged.
