Looks nice mate, nice HU! Good job doing it yourself aswell Is the HU fascia darker though than the rest of the console, or is that just the light?

the colour coded bits look amazing, not sure on how the hu sticks out from the dash and it looks like the front don't come off either?

 

No the fascia wont come off the headunit dont think it does on any screens

 

Good alpine screen units do have fascia removal, cost about £500-600

no the facia dont come off as it is dvd screen as said above. thats the only thing im abit :\ about. dont supose any one knows where i can get a cover or sommet to put over it to put chavs of from robbin it?

other than that ill have to get some security film fitted on me windows as ps2 is going init this week and digi box in nxt couple of weeks.

technically more of a statement, but no it wont physically stop some doing that, although its more of a deterent to thieves as they dont have the protection of silence. to prevent thieves even attempting to rob your goods, get a dual prox sensor, so if they get too close, itll beep. even better is a pager alarm with dual prox as youll be alerted when someone gets too close or breaks in.

well my viper 480xv (pager alarm cat 1) with dual prox cost 380 fitted

not 1200 well will a TINY bit but when its relaqurered it gives it a better finish
