My automatic Corsa keeps getting stuck in park, sometimes it's fine sometimes I have to turn off engine 6 or 7 times then it will suddenly move out of park,no problems with gear change once out of park,any ideas much appreciated

guessing this is the full auto 1.4? not easycronic?
Had similar fault on our 1.4 auto. a wire had broke on selector lever. took lever out and replaced broken wire.
If you remove centre console from around hand brake and selector you should be able to see whats going on.
