Well this all started in March 2007 when had some stuff happen in life and needed something to take my mind off things, big mistake! lol

Stage 1

Had bought the car 2 years before properly posting on the site and had so far fitted bucket seats, headunit, amp and sub. Simple stuff but kept me happy.

Debadged with proper clean and camera

Then with National Day 07 set as a target (which then became PVS after National Day didn’t happen) the real work started.

Wheels were ordered which took a month to come through but were worth the wait.

Image

While waiting for the wheels to come through I had ordered a few other parts.

FK coilovers and Angel Eye headlights fitted.

Image

Image

Image

Then with wheels fitted as well.

Image

Image

RaidHP strut brace.

Image

Then one Saturday at work I had a crazy idea at work and ended up driving home with

Image

Image

Which with a bit of work became

Image

Image

Image

Wasn’t the prettiest and so with some spare time (and David)

Image

Then my harnesses turned up.

Image

Image

Image

Image

At a bluewater meet

Image

Image

Finally the last piece of the puzzle, Piper 3.5” inward rolled backbox.

Image

Image

Image

Finally PVS 07 came round, and after a 7 hour cleaning session

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

And after driving across the camp site with Mart

Image

Shortly after the show though the car was broken into and the audio and lots of other things stolen (hopefully paying the the b*stards overdose:D)

So with limo tints on the rear 3 later

Then to finish off the handling on my car, an adjustable Whiteline rear anti-roll bar (would suggest to anyone)

Image

Then invested in a machine polisher.

Image

Image

Image

Then all that was left was a few finishing touches.
White dash conversion and Az’s MFD light board.

Image

Image

Matt black pillars and centre console.

Image

Image

Image

Image

Eyebrows

Image

Colour coded spoiler and boot handle

Image

Richbrook steering wheel.

Image

And a 400 mile round trip for Steinmetz front grille :D

Image

There are a few bits that happened like Sri lower grille and HIDs that cant remember when happened but oh well

Well that was everything done I wanted for stage one so was time for a photoshoot.

I had a very crazy moment back in January 08 and spent a grand on a body kit.
The car has been off the road now since May 08 having a “little” make over lol

Few pics before it all began

Image

Image

Image

The body kit that I had aquired (although can’t find pics of rear bumper :?)

Image

Image

Image

Image

mmm width

Image

mmm kevlar

Then the fun began :D

Trial fitting the kit.

After this realised it went over the fuel flap so

Image

Then realised that to go low enough at the rear there was going to have to be a little work done.

After the initial cuts had been made something arrived :)

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

After some cutting and welding later and had

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Of course can’t have a rally replica without

Image

Image

And welded in

Image

Image

Image

It was then in storage for a while but a few shots in the time.

Image

Image

Rear brakes painted and plumbed in only a year after fitting

Image

One of the next things to tackle was the wiring as some needed removing and other bits rerouting.

Image

Image

To do it properly though meant going from

Image

to

Image

With all wiring accessible it ended up as

Image

Image

Image

And when it gets to see daylight

Image

Still quite a bit to do but once 2 bits are sorted it will be quite simple and then just dependent on money to get it finished.

working fine :D Nice 1 :D Nice car ... will look mint when its painted ... the back arch looks a lil like a wing of some kind as it looks really thin in the last pic, bet it look 10x better in person. Beautiful, lots of hard work has obv gone in.

That thin bit of metal is the archliner :)

Did you get that kit from Lee (mr slayer)?

Is it not finished then? Brave to tear apart your car like that, for sure!
No bought the kit ages ago.
Unfortunately not finished yet. Have had a major delay on the project which has pissed me off for over a year but it will get there.
Just couldn't see the car going in any other direction from how it was and when the kit popped up i just couldnt say no lol

rad  i did a little bit of sperm in my pants
expected from you :p

Cant wait to see it finished :)
Makes 2 of us :)

where are you moving the filler neck to?
Keeping somethings quiet for now, gotta have some suprises :p
