hi guys i am quite new to this forum. Basically i am looking at turboing my 1.2 corsa. I work at DP Motorsport which is a tuning company and we tune mainly japenese sports cars. I will be turboing my car when i get the money and i was wondering if any of you guys no where i can get a turbo manifold for my car? I dont need n e thing else as i can fabricate everything in work and i we have plenty of turbos i can take from work. we also have all the oil feed and return lines which can be made for my car and the extra injecter to throw in the extra fuel etc. can n e 1 help me?

nah it aint pointless m8. take in 2 consideration that a 1.2 weighs absoloutly nothing and i work at a tuning company so i no wot ime doing. i rekon i can pull 145bhp owt of it by throwing in extra fuel with a mappable injector driver and lower the compression of the engine and a few other tricks of the trade. we had a suzuki swift 1.3 in not long ago which we charger and it wud of easily beat a standard subaru from 30 upwards all down to the weight of it. just had traction issues from a standard start

why not just spend the little bit extra and get a 1.8, while it might not be pointless, there is only so much power u'll get out of a 1.2

The 1.4 is the same engine block as the 1.2, just bigger bore on each cilinder.

Also i hope that you arent using stock internals if your hoping on turbo'ing it.

Also, some better brakes would be advised, and a suspension setup.

Have you thought about cams, lighter flywheel, lighter driveshafts, how about exhaust system, and remap.

yes i no all this m8 remember where i work, lol. everything will b done. so duz this meen that the 1.4 goes straight in same loom etc? as for the wheels ime getin them sprayed in gun metal grey m8. wot wheels u got?

yer i c where u cumin from that will prbly b the buts with a quik engine inside. i need to find owt if the 1.4 engine will drop straight in my 1.2 tho. If so then i will buy a 1.4 engine then build the turboes engine ouside the car then on a weekend shove it in so i do not have to take my car off the road wot u rekon? do u no n e 1 that noes if this engine drops str8 in wiv no chaning of the loom etc?

check on parkers........... technical data...
a z12xe is 12s 0 - 60, z12xep is 11.8

z14xe is around 10 and the z14xep is a lil faster.........

so yeah quite a bit... 2s is a lot.. lol in F1....... 0.200s is a lot!

i can get you a tubular equal length manifold for about 250 delivered with pretty much any flange on it.

as said, wouldnt bother with the 1.2 turbo as the gearing is a bit ****e, unless you change the FD. Swap it for a 1.4 and turbo that instead.

a while ago i tried to find out what the dirrences are between the 1.2 and 1.4 (bore stroke etc and if they are same ecu)
