just the service indicator light. can reset it yourself if you want

 

how?

 

hold your mileage trip button in, put your key in ignition, turn ignition on till warning lights are on, keep the button pressed for a few more seconds until "InSP" either flashes or disappears, and the jobs done

 

just tried that didnt work it just flashes need it gone

 

keep trying mate, thats the only way to do it!

make sure when u press the button the key is out of the ignition, keep the button pressed as u turn the ignition on. keep it held until it disappears and next time u turn your ignition on it'll be cleared.

 

regarding the plates, im sure you would get in trouble.

 

there is another way to do it, if its facelift u have to press brake pedal or somethin

INSP is short for inspection and is the service indicator for your car.

You have two options. you can take it to a garage if you genuinly need a service, but sometimes it just shoes up at the wrong time.
If this is the case, a simple procedure will see it gone
-2003
press button A (center/left side of intrument cluster)
switch ignition on
the display will flash for 2 seconds
keep button A depressed untill '---' appers in the display
release button A
switch ignition off.

2003-
press and hold button A (center/left side of instrument cluter. aprox after 3 seconds the letters 'insp 0' will appear in the display.
continue holding button A, depress the brake pedal and switch the ignition on.
the letters 'insp ---' will start flashing in the display to be replaced after approx 10 seconds with the message 'insp xxxxx m'
release button A, brake pedal and switch off the ignition.

 

oh aye yeh, i'd forgotten about that for the facelift ones, my bad.

 

lol yeh, he did say it was a 05 which is facelift tho

u got crossed wires mate, matt's corsa is on its 4th insprection, not the 05 plate one :thumbs:
