I know it's a very boring question but does anyone know the correct PSI for 195/45/16 tyres? I'm guessing it's arround the 30 mark but I want to make sure first.

Cheers guys.

psi = pressure, not amount

no matter what size rims u have, how small/big the tyres are the psi stays the same in accordance to the engine size iirc

32 all round is what most garages/tyre places put in all tyres as standard.

up to 3 passengers

1.0 = 32 front / 26 rear

1.2 = 32 front / 26 rear

1.4 = 33 front / 30 rear

1.7d = 33 front / 30 rear

fully laden (3+ passengers)

all models = 35 front / 41 rear

there you go lol. from haynes manual coz im bored.

You pressures are probabaly wrong then. Also, most of those haynes listed pressures are completely wrong.

For example the 1.7CDTI pressures for 195/45/16 tyres are 39 front 36 rear. This is out of the vauxhall manual, so these are correct, simple as.

get this yea, i took my car into vauxhall to get a few things checked out,
and it was pulling to left and its been vibrating through steering wheel, and it was balanced on front not long back and it didnt stop the vibe,
so when i got the car back today they sed the tyres were inflated wrong and that they should be
32fr 23r , so now iv got them pressures in and it handles like ****. thats according to the new chart vauxhall masterfit have just had.
in my book it says 35 fr 32r, so im gonna put it back to that and put up with the vibration. wat does anyone on here reckon?
