I Have Seen These Pulsing Cold Cathode Tubes In Various Show Cars & Was Just Wondering How They Make Them Pulse To The Subwoofers? I Was Thinking It Could Be Done By Just Bridging The Wires From The Cathode's To The Amp?

Any Ideas?

Cheers Ash :)

I imagine they have a circuit in which can detect the power spikes from the amplifier playing the bass notes. Or a small speaker.

No, No, No, No, No, and No.

They are designed to run of a voltage at a certain frequency, not whatever your amp spits out. and you dont know what it could potentially do to your amp.

They work through a sound to light processor, with a small microphone built in.
