Rain water gets on the positive battery terminal?

Well my Corsa C is due for it's MOT in around 2-3 weeks so I'm trying to lick up some odd bits and bobs. But I noticed today there was water over the positive battery terminal and theirs rust over my sub woofer power cable that sticks on the terminal, is this still all safe?.. There was a bit of water over the fuse box too. Theirs no crack/dent in the bonnet too. Overall the cars completely crap, was sold it with a reset ECU to remove the engine light, a completely bald tire and the tread was coming through and the tracking was WAY out. They promised there's no known problems, but when I contacted them they said it was 'sold as seen'.

Also does anyone know why my passenger footwell is soaking with water? I pulled out the pollen filter because it was black as anything and the oil filter was so gammy it had sucked it on itself. Is it anything to do with this? I found a conker under the bonnet around the engine and theirs loads of leaves and bits between the firewall and the windscreen.

Would it also be the footwell causing a lot of moisture on the front and rear windscreen? Never any on the side windows. Starting to grow mold inside the car..

Sweet thank you, is it okay for rain water to hit the battery though? Can’t think what else it could be to make the terminal wet and for the subwoofer power cable ring to rust. Is it unsafe if it’s rusted?

Would it definately be the BCM seal if it’s wet but the car is always stationary? Currently unable to drive so it’s just sat there
