The rear bolts are a nightmare everyone on here have had problems with them but I didn't mine just Come undone pretty easy tbh didn't round them off either :dontknow:

It's impossible to not find them if you have tried to take the rear benches out!!

 

Rear bench straight out, if you have a 60/40 split rear seat then there is a bolt holding it on, undo and remove the backrest, if yours has the leather I'd leave it in mate, the noise can get annoying after a while

 

ahh its been done now mate pretty happy with it just need some mdf for where the sparewheel sits and its sorted

 

I like the sound of mine been stripped 8+ months and don't bother me :dontknow:

I just got a t40 on it Nd it seemed to grip? But just didn't seem to nudge how much are ratchets as I believe my brute force with a screwdriver handle is not going to nudge it?

check halfords website if you want one quick, otherwise ebay...etc

 

tried wd40? my Clio one was stuck so bad but when I used a bar to get it undone I gashed the thread up because it bent the screw so had to re-thread lol

Will a automatic drill/ screwdriver help or will that trash the end round it off anyway I'm gonna give the wd40 a go

Wd40 didn't work alone can't get enough grip on screwdriver

 

Yup I used t45 iirc and the bolts are a right problem for 99% of the people on here.... A screwdriver ain't gonna move it you need a 1/2" ratchet

 

Use wd40 n hit it with a hammer and it should shock th thread and in theory get rid of th rust/dirt etc

and wheres the cheapest for one of them?

i know you can buy the ratchet from like drapers store, B & Q etc,

but then do you get the bit for it from halfords?

 

Halfords get a Torx set and 1/2" ratchet :dontknow:

Use biggest Torx bit you can get in there not to round it off..... Gonna have to use abit of muscle to get it undone as it's on fairly tight and all the dirt/rust over the years will be stuck at the rear of it
