hiiiiiiiiiii...

Ok right i just fitted a new battery tut corsa mobeel and now my headunit has decided to reset itself which means whatever sound settings i had on before have now gone. :banghead: plus tbh im a bit blonde and got someone else to set it just right and it was well mint and that but i never paid the slightest bit of attention and now im driving round with crappy sounding music :no::no:

SO... was just wondering what other people have their treble mid and bass running at so i could have a go and take some pride in it sounding good my way! not sure if my set ups important like but i have fusion encounter door speaker, vibe slick 69 6x9s and a double 12 inch fusion sub :heelclick: sorry for gabbing on too... cheers guys :bye:

What speakers have you got where? What headunit? What music do you listen to?

As a basic setting I usually (out of -10 - 0 - +10 ) Have treble boosted to +3, bass to +2, have it faded to the back 3 places. This is on a bmw 1 series but its only got basic stereo with coaxes in the front and 6" woofers in the rear, so a fairly similar set up to the corsa.

I find fading it to the back a little makes it bassier without making the front speakers break up; which is nice.

If that was me, I would aim for around bass +1 or +2, mid 0, treble +4 Use these as your base setting and fine tune until your happy

Just fiddle with the settings till you find something that sounds good, not alot of point asking what other settings people use unless they have the same h/u as you.

Also a litle word of advice when EQing its best to cut frequencies rather than to boost them, if you run out of adjustment then you can boost stuff a little but its best to not to increase the levels to much in case it starts clipping.
