Hasnt the red wire got a fuse in it already?

no, theres one on the back of the stereo but I watched this (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ajcXVDz9eeQ) and i was told i need a fuse to use when wiring to the cigarette lighter.

If you know would i be able an in-line fuse?

 

Hi there, don't know if this is any help but fuse 26 on my Corsa, appears to be the fuse for the cigarette lighter, which is 20 amp, so how much current does your sound system use at most, if you know what it all uses, double it and that's the fuse you need...if that comes out at 20amp your away, if it's less then put an inline fuse in of the appropriate value, if its more you cant power it from there....Fred in Essex.

 

What's wrong with the power line from the original loom?

 

Red wire from the aftermarket iso lead goes to the ciggie socket. The aftermarket iso lead connects to the aftermarket headunit leads.

thats what im trying to find out how to do. I just need to know what fuse i need to buy because im not really sure and the video isnt that clear to me on what i need to get. could you link me to something?
