Seriously thinking of doing it as insurance is too high for a 1.8 atm.

What would i need?

Turbo
Mani
Cooler
New Cams?

Just going through it in my head but what is physically needed to put the Turbo onto the 1.2 engine?

Do you need new fuel lines and tank etc?

Mainly aimed at Cturbo :p

Thanks for any help/

depends on how far you want to go with it.

stronger head bolts
forge internals
both manifols
turbo
intercooler
increase fuel
remap
ect...

but time you declare the turbo to insurance. would be easier just to get a 1.8 IMO.

all you would need to physically do the turbo conversion is

Turbo
Turbo Manifold
Boost pipes
Intercooler
Dump valve
Oil lines
Oil return tapped into the sump
water lines for the turbo
custom exhaust from turbo back
Air filter
bigger injectors
ECU mapped

lol

1) I asking these questions helps me learn more about how these things work.

2) No Quinn gave me a quote for 2800 for a Zlet then now wont insure me untill im 30... Havnt really shopped around yet. (Also its for when im 19 with 2yr NCB)

3) Regal did infact replace my timing chain as i had the kit in the car and did some other things that i cant really remember was like a year ago and the reason it was so cheap was becuase a mate just spent 4k there.

It was around 90-93 that was on super unleaded and with new filters, oil bla bla bla after what they did.. doubt its still that now cos it sounds like a diesel again.

It was a laugh at Reading and u taking things off my car but its abit old now. Im just trying to learn abit more about how this all works and see my options. I wanted to go into automotives but didnt get the chance..yet.

turbo manifold
pipe from mani to turbo to lower the height of the turbo
turbo (oil and water fed) the one im selling now is perfect for any corsa turbo home brew kit
oil feed from sump
coolant feed
standard cams! don't use anything else, same applys to inlet mani
oil cooler, probably 16 row
intercooler
2.5" system, sports cat
EDS turbo map will work, or run a live map (ÂŁÂŁ's)

edit; solly beat me to it lol + injectors. recirculating DV

You've got a lot of learning to do if you don't know what a sump is.

Best thing to do is pish about with your engine and learn what everything is and what it does then come back and seriously think about it.
